Jil Bentz
Jil Bentz is a Luxemburgish architect and head of Studio Jil Bentz since 2018. She received her undergraduate degree in architecture with distinction in 2010 from the Technical University in Munich. In 2014 she graduated from the University of Arts in Berlin in architectural studies. Her final project got distinguished with the Max Taut-Award for the best architectural contribution in the academic year 2013-2014. After gaining two years of work experience at Sauerbruch Hutton, Jil continued her architectural studies in a postgraduate program at Columbia University New York, where she received the highest honour for her diploma project in 2017. She taught with Prof. Kersten Geers in New York at Columbia University and at EPFL in Lausanne. In 2025 she got invited by the University in Siegen to lead together with Hendrik as interim professors the chair for conceptual design in architectural studies for one semester.
